Paul Catherall at the 2018 Cambridge Printmakers Biennale
We were delighted to see Paul Catherall at the 2018 Cambridge Printmakers Biennale giving his talk ‘Carving Out a Living’. Paul is a great favourite of Loci’s, his 2011 Curwen Studio lithograph ‘Goldfinger III’ hangs proudly in our King’s Parade offices.
This fantastic work was Paul’s first lithograph and is based on his images inspired by architect Erno Goldfinger. It has also been used on the cover of Iain Sinclair’s latest book ‘Living with Buildings’, published earlier this month and described as a ‘moving and remarkable’ journey exploring the relationship between ‘sickness and structure… art, architecture, social planning and health’.
