Old Combination Room – St Catharine’s College, Cambridge

Loci Interiors recently completed a design scheme for the refurbishment of the Old Combination Room at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge.

Currently used as conference, dining and fellows meeting rooms these architecturally important rooms are located adjacent to the Chapel, within the buildings to North Wing of the principal court.

Founded in 1473, the current community at St Catharine’s College, consists of approximately 70 Fellows, 150 Graduate students and 410 Undergraduates.

A high ceilinged and timber panelled room, The Old Combination Room is used for private dining, meetings and conferences. Loci designs ensured the existing space retained its character whilst allowing improved function and flow offering excellent multipurpose use.
